Barcelona Arts Summer School (BASS)

Project Coordination of BASS: The Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC), and the Institut del Teatre de Catalunya (IT) have joined forces to design and implement an interdisciplinary experience for students from all three institutions, as well as European students. This initiative, called the Barcelona Arts Summer School (BASS), is based on shared learning and the creative process.

The BASS aims to integrate the fundamental pillars of film, music, and performing arts within a learning environment focused on knowledge and hands-on experimentation. From the conception of multidisciplinary projects to their final outcome, the program offers participants the guidance of renowned faculty and industry professionals who lead classes, workshops, and masterclasses, as well as mentor ten final projects.
