Gameloft Barcelona: Female talent in the video game industry

Program for young people interested in video games and technology. STEM job orientation to promote female talent, discover career opportunities and connect with leading women from Gameloft and Return.

Return and Gameloft Barcelona are organizing a career orientation day for girls from various high schools in Barcelona. The goal is to promote female vocations in the video game sector.

Currently, the video game industry is growing continuously. However, only 25% of professionals are women. For this reason, we want to contribute to reducing this gender gap.

The day will take place on Tuesday, December 2 at the Gameloft Barcelona offices. It is also part of the company’s social sustainability strategy.

During the activity, participants will discover the roles and departments of a video game company. They will also work in teams to create a prototype.

Finally, the young women will receive feedback from Gameloft professionals, including leading women in the sector. The aim is to inspire them to explore this area as a possible professional future.
