Diagnosis and Transformation Plan of the Tot Raval Foundation: Organization and Technology 4.0

The Tot Raval Foundation (FTR) is a leading entity in the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona. It was established to promote social cohesion, coexistence, and quality of life in one of the city’s most diverse areas. Since its creation, the FTR has become a networked workspace connecting associations, institutions, businesses, and the community. In addition, it drives community projects in fields such as education, culture, health, employment, and local commerce.

Over the years, the Foundation has strengthened its role as a key agent in community development. It has led initiatives like Socially Responsible Territory, the activation of working groups, and the promotion of a positive image of the Raval. Nevertheless, it now faces new challenges. On one hand, the complexity of its projects is increasing. On the other, there is a greater need to leverage advanced digital tools and management methodologies.

Objectives of Digital and Organizational Transformation

The project Diagnosis and Transformation Plan: Organization and Technology 4.0, led by RETURN, responds to this new reality. Its goal is to adapt the Tot Raval Foundation to the digital environment and strengthen its management. As a result, the FTR aims to consolidate itself as a more efficient, robust, and sustainable community platform.

This transformation process seeks to:

  • Systematize internal processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Enhance internal communication and shared knowledge among teams, entities, and residents.
  • Strengthen citizen participation with collaborative digital tools.
  • Ensure continuous innovation in the community development of the Raval.

Towards a More Connected and Sustainable Raval

Ultimately, this organizational digitalization and transformation plan reaffirms the Tot Raval Foundation’s commitment. Through technology and collaboration, it intends to remain a 4.0 management model committed to social cohesion, sustainability, and urban innovation.
